When Innocence Held Sway-Poem

On May 28 of last year, I posted a work with a bit of poetry in the comments. I did not give it much thought, but one of my dearest friends, seemed to think it was worth expanding. Well, as my Muse took her dear, sweet time with that idea, you can see how long it has been since the suggestion was made.

So, here it is: The fully expanded version of that poem. I hope you like it.
