The Ghost of the Glen

"The day is dawning 'neath cloudy skies,

The trees a-sway with the morning wind.

The birds have yet to awake and sing.

The misty hazes begin to thin.

The quiet shattered, the sound of hooves,

A snort of joy and of reveling.

A flash of withers so pale and clean.

Behold, it is the Ghost of the Glen."


Yeah, kinda weak, but it fits the mood.

I have been working on this, off and on, for a few days, now. I got the look I wanted...100%. Of course, I was thinking about my Grand-daughter and her horse the whole time.

I hope you like it, even with the weak verse (or, in spite of it).
